Opportunity
Roxanne Assoulin is looking for a Content and Creative Manager to support all content related needs at our fast-growing brand.
You will work closely with our Founder and CEO to tell our brand story. You will set and execute the vision for content for our Social Media (Organic and Paid), Website, Emails and other channels.  The ideal candidate for this role will have impeccable taste: an eye for great design and an ear for smart copy and will be comfortable guiding both. You must be hands-on, able to take a project from briefing to concept through to execution, with the ability to both lead and execute along the way.

Responsibilities
Content Development
  • Execute all creative and copy to effectively tell the story of the brand, collections and products on Social, the RA website and email channels in a consistent voice
  • Lay out Organic Social media content calendar in partnership with marketing, in sync with communication calendar
  • Plan and execute tailored content in the format appropriate for each Social media channel including video, Gifs, photography and graphic design
  • Partner with Merchandising, Marketing and the external digital agency to define asset needs to support Paid Social ads
  • Work with Graphic designer to pull together email compositions
  • Manage the balance of presenting the brand through highest quality content and also driving conversion to achieve the brand’s commercial goals
  • Support A/B testing to learn and improve performance of all content, incorporating feedback into future development
Photoshoots
  • Ideate creative concepts with our Founder
  • Produce all photoshoots, coordinating with all external parties (photographers, models, etc.) as well as internal stakeholders (design, merchandising, marketing, etc.). Manage budgets for all shoots
  • Oversee all retouching efforts internally / externally as applicable
  • Ensure highest quality representation of the brand
Marketing Leadership
  • Manage and mentor a Graphic Designer and part time copywriter
  • Support our Founder and CEO in building the brand further
  • Act as a thought partner with Marketing and rest of organization
  • Serve as a custodian of the brand
 
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative role at a consumer focused company
  • Strong portfolio of work that showcases expertise in content creation for an E-Commerce company: Website, Email, Social Media, etc.
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
  • Strong and positive work ethic; scrappy and entrepreneurial
  • Intellectually curious and love learning constantly
  • College degree required

Opportunity
Roxanne Assoulin is looking for a Brand Marketing Director to lead brand building efforts at our fast-growing company.
This role is key for our next phase of growth as you will be responsible for increasing our brand awareness and presence in the US and internationally. You will own the communications calendar: serving as the singular point for planning all PR and Communications as well as leading our very popular Play RA events. You will also ideate and execute all brand collaborations to help us grow.

This role reports to the Founder and CEO and is based out of the Nomad HQ of the company.
 
Responsibilities
PR
  • Work closely with Founder and PR agency to determine the right press strategy and list of brand partners to expand the brand presence further regionally, nationally and internationally
  • Manage the external PR agency to execute this strategy
  • Evaluate and execute affiliate programs as applicable
Events
  • Own the events calendar for Play RA
  • Manage all aspects of the events from planning, publicizing, scheduling, coordinating and day-of execution
  • Manage P&L of events in partnership with Finance
Collaborations
  • Determine the right brand collaborations to achieve the strategic goals set by the Founder
  • Outreach and set up these collaborations
  • Lead the coordination efforts across the company to execute collaborations
  • Set and track KPIs for the collaborations
Communications
  • Own the overall communications calendar in partnership with merchandising and E-Commerce and the Digital/ CRM marketing manager
  • Plan campaigns to support collections and events
  • Define messaging for all campaigns, including briefs for creative team to execute and coordinate integrated execution across all channels
Marketing Leadership
  • Support our Founder and CEO in driving growth at the company
  • Act as a thought partner with rest of organization: Innovate and collaborate
  • Serve as a custodian of the brand
  • Manage and mentor the Marketing Coordinator
 
Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience in a brand marketing role at a consumer company
  • Understands and respects the special sauce that goes into brand building
  • Direct experience planning, running events and identifying and managing collaborations
  • Experience working with PR agency
  • Passionate about fashion / jewelry / styling / design
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong and positive work ethic; scrappy and entrepreneurial
  • Intellectually curious and love learning constantly
  • College degree required

You will set the customer-oriented marketing strategy to meet the brand’s growth goals and then execute that strategy. We’re a small team and your impact will be profound and clear.

Responsibilities

Retention

  • Set overarching CRM strategy to achieve sales and brand goals

  • Define end to end customer lifecycle milestones and brand touchpoints

  • Define relevant customer segments and goals by each segment

  • Decide on right channels and frequency of each to outreach to customers: Email, SMS, Direct Mail, etc.

  • Partner with Creative, Merchandising and E-Commerce teams to determine ongoing Email cadence and messaging

  • Manage EMS account, including email scheduling, customer database, and sign-up forms

  • Set overall KPIs for performance, analyze performance and report on progress

  • Actively A/B test and funnel feedback into updating strategy

 

Acquisition

  • Define acquisition strategy: approach and goals by channel

  • Manage external digital agency to execute approach

  • Partner with Creative to ensure availability of the right assets to support Paid efforts

  • Set overall KPIs, analyze performance and report on progress

  • Actively test and learn to adjust spend levels and approach as appropriate

 

Marketing Leadership

  • Support our Founder and CEO in driving growth at the company

  • Act as a thought partner with rest of organization: Innovate and collaborate

  • Serve as a custodian of the brand

Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing at a consumer-facing brand or an agency

  • Analytical and data led thinker; proficient in Excel

  • Deep knowledge of Klaviyo (or equivalent Email platform), SMS outreach platforms

  • Deep knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, SEO, Google Analytics and Shopify (or equivalent E-Commerce platform)

  • Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong and positive work ethic; scrappy and entrepreneurial

  • Intellectually curious and love learning constantly
