Digital Marketing Director

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Digital Marketing Director will be the leader of all marketing efforts at Roxanne Assoulin. Working with the Founder/Creative Director of the brand, this role will develop digitally-led marketing initiatives to power growth on
RoxanneAssoulin.com, engage its community on owned social media platforms and generate leads via paid digital
marketing efforts. This individual will work closely with the E-Commerce Manager and be solely responsible for building
the infrastructure and processes required to strategically develop the company’s modern marketing capabilities. This role
requires a passion for increasing awareness for the brand, generating leads to convert on the site, leading his/her coworkers
by example, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Holding expertise across all areas of the responsibilities noted below is less critical than demonstrating a command of
digital thinking and a drive to problem-solve across areas of the business. Only those interested in a challenge with a

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Analytics
• Integrate and manage sales targets, product initiatives, digital marketing platforms and tactics into singular launch
T&A calendar
• Coordinate all direct-to-consumer launches and track milestones across cross-functional teams to ensure on time
and on budget delivery of assets in partnership with E-Commerce Manager
• Generate consumer analytics / CRM insights, conduct competitive benchmarking, report on digital marketing
campaigns / initiatives and share digital PR metrics provided by agency
• Set KPIs for new marketing initiatives in partnership with Merchandise Planning Director and E-Commerce
Manager
• Manage 3rd party PR agency in alignment with PR strategy and opportunistically amplify PR moments across
owned digital channels
Digital Marketing
• Conduct e-mail marketing including managing e-mail calendar (messaging, assets, copy, product), A/B testing,
recommendations on design/copy to improve e-mail performance, reporting on e-mail performance
• Manage e-mail service provider Mailchimp
• Run and optimize performance marketing (display, search, social) including development of allocation model by
attribution / acquisition channel, coordinating assets from Creative and if needed, managing 3rd party agency
conducting campaigns
• Allocate digital marketing budget across campaign types (awareness, acquisition, conversion)
Social Media
• Schedule and coordinate all assets for posting on social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Instagram
Stories
• Analyze performance on social platforms (community growth, engagement rates, etc.), share findings with RA
team and make recommendations on how to improve performance on these platforms
• Generate ideas to communicate core brand strategies and initiatives on social platforms focusing on Instagram
and Facebook

QUALIFICATIONS
• College degree required
• 5+ yrs experience in digital marketing at an agency or consumer-facing brand; fashion experience not required
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a high-energy and fast paced environment
• Deep experience in developing digital marketing allocation models and executing budgets for digital campaigns
• Experience working with third party agencies (PR, events) to execute initiatives on-budget and on-time a plus
• Willingness to be a player-coach and hire team to support marketing needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
• Strong and positive work ethic
• Proficiency in Excel required and Powerpoint preferred
